Requirement to Upload Reports to GeoTracker – Prerequisite to Receiving Reimbursement from USTCF

The UST Cleanup Fund program Update (February 1, 2013) serves as a REMINDER about the Requirement to Upload Reports to GeoTracker in order to Receive Reimbursement

You are Required to Upload Reports to GeoTracker in order to Receive Reimbursement

Claimants must remain in compliance with all laws and regulatory directives in order to be eligible to receive reimbursement. Reimbursement Request packages are being returned for those claims that are not in compliance. These claims will not be eligible to receive reimbursement until you resolve the noncompliance issue.

One law requiring compliance is uploading case information to GeoTracker.

Regulations require electronic submittal of information (ESI) for soil, vapor, and groundwater of leaking underground storage tank (LUST) cases.

Complete case records on GeoTracker are necessary for Fund staff both to confirm performance of work that supports reimbursement requests and to perform Administrative and Technical Reviews. Specifically, Five Year Reviews require review of the case history of tank cases with an active letter of commitment that has been in an active status for five years or more.
